||
Our Member Portal sign up and creation process is changing. Here are some of the changes: | |
||
== Background == | |
||
**Previously:** You would need to either A) Create an account and then purchase a contract, or, B) Purchase a contract from a club in MM and have the club create a login for you. | |
||
Navigating outside of this workflow caused a lot of issues, including: | |
||
* Portal accounts not being created | |
* Customers attempting to register on membersolutions.com without all the necessary information | |
* Mismatched accounts being created | |
||
== What's Changing == | |
||
Here is how that process changes going forward: | |
||
First, for small things – logins will no longer be custom – they will be autocreated at time of creation. This means, you will no longer need to remember the login you created months ago or reach out to staff to find your login. | |
||
== New Portal Account Creation Process == | |
||
Here is the new process for portal account creation: | |
||
1. When a contract or package is sold to a member who does not have a current member portal account, they will receive a registration link with their account name. They will be prompted in the email to click the link to configure their password and login. | |
||
{{info}} | |
**HOW THIS CHANGES FROM CURRENT PROCESS:** Currently, a contract or package sold does not generate a portal account. The account would be created from the member page. | |
{{/info}} | |
||
== New Member Profile View == | |
||
Now, the space that the login was previously will be filled by one of the following: | |
||
* **No account exists:** | |
[[image:No Portal Account.png]] | |
A notice will appear to generate an account. This will be the same process as selling a contract or package – the end user will receive an email with their registration information. | |
* **Invite sent, not accepted:** | |
[[image:bsanders656 2.png]] | |
If a user has sent out a portal invite and the end user has not accepted, they will see a pending status indicator. | |
* **Account activated:** | |
[[image:bsanders656.png]] | |
When the end user has activated their account, the staff will see an active account button. | |
||
The staff will also have the ability to send forgot password emails to clients if they are unable to login. | |
||
== Member Portal Self-Registration == | |
||
The Member Portal self-registration will also be changing: | |
||
* Self-registration is now a **single page | |
[[image:Srit name a recures.png]]** | |
* Questionnaires will now be assigned to the profile after creation | |
[[image:Dashboard.png]] | |
||
== Member Manager Updates == | |
||
In Member Manager, when you pull up a user who has auto-registered, an alert will be shown. In addition, you can also search on the member screen the status of pending questionnaires. | |
